Oh Baby . . .
When the alarm went off this morning I thought it seemed too early, but then again doesn't it always seem too early? So I drug myself out of bed and into the shower. After getting dressed and doing my hair, I went into the kitchen to grab breakfast and noticed that the clock said 4:37am. That's weird -- I set my alarm for 6am. Hmm, there must be something wrong with the clock on the microwave, I'll check my cell phone. 4:37am. Addie likes to play with the alarm clock and must have accidentally reset the time! So now I'm dressed with my hair done, and it's 4:40am! And I don't need to be to work until 8am. Oh babies . . .

Addie's First Christmas
Get ready to be bombarded with the pics of Addie's first Christmas. :) It was definitely a packed Christmas, but we're really quite blessed to be so loved.

Here are a couple more we took during the same photo session. She decided she wanted to eat an ornament.

Festivities of the week started on Tuesday with a day-long visiting marathon. We first went to Emmett and had lunch with Dawn, Becky, Cameron, Tucker, and MaryAnne. Then we visited Grandma Judy at work, and headed back into town. We stopped by Linda's in Nampa and visited for a bit, then on over to Meridian to visit Great Grandma Dean. The roads weren't the best that day, but we made it all over the valley! :) Then on Wednesday, Christmas Eve, we went to Grandma Judy's for dinner.
Here she is on Christmas Eve at Grandma's, eating a roll.
Christmas morning.
This is Cherry Blossom -- made by Erika, and one of Addie's favorite presents.
And this is the adorable strawberry doll made by Hailey (I think) that Bailey has already destroyed.

K, I'm ready for more!
Think someone was tired?
Hmm, what's in here?
A car! (That Bailey has also chewed up)
Books from Great Grandma.

Cute outfit from Linda.

After cleaning up, we headed out to Montour to see the Gatfield family. We were worried about the roads, but they were actually clear most of the way (the worst part was in Montour). We opened presents at Pappy's and then headed down to Great Grandma Lola's for lunch. With a packed day, we headed out that afternoon, back to Boise to Grandpa Rick's. We had delicious split pea soup and Addie got to open the biggest gift yet -- a highchair. We headed home that night, tired from the busy day -- but we weren't done yet! We went to Nampa to see Grandma Robin and Grandpa Hutch on Friday. I did a poort job (obviously) of taking pictures everywhere, but we have the memories and overload of gifts to mark the occasion. :) We all got spoiled, as usual, and enjoyed spending the time with our wonderful families.
These probably look familiar to most -- they're the ones from our Christmas card.

Here are Addie's goodies I received during the toy swap I did with my Valley Bums group. These were her stocking stuffers.

Where O Where Has My Good Sleeper Gone?
Addie has been fighting sleep lately. Just the last couple of days -- she refuses to nap until she's so tired that she gets all worked up and angry. She either has to cry it out, or I have to pack her around in the carrier for a while or put her in the car. Then after all the work she only sleeps her usuall half-hour. And at night she's getting a stuffy nose (only at night) which makes her not sleep or eat good. I really can't complain because she's done really well in the sleep area, but last night wasn't fun. She didn't go to bed until about 10:30pm, then was up at 1pm to eat, up at 3pm angry because of a stuffy nose (we sat up with her, used the "snot sucker", and ran a hot shower until she finally went back to sleep), and then again at 5pm because of her nose again. I have a feeling it's going to be a long day at work. I'm hoping she'll sleep for Daddy today, or it will be a long day for him too. But hey, we're at least getting a little sleep, so I'm sure that's better than some parents! :) Anywho, this isn't actually the reason for this blog. I unloaded the camera the other day:
I had to take a picture of the toys I made for my Valley Bums toy swap. Well, the toys I helped my mom make. :)I was recently going through my pics of Addie and realized I don't have many of her smiling. So Loren and I got out the camera and this is what we got.
This is a pretty good smile. I actually think she's looks like her Pappy (my dad) here.
Then we got the tongue. This is her new thing -- tongue out constantly. She particularly likes to talk with it hanging out. While Loren was raking leaves on Saturday I decided to try on Addie's snowsuit from Grandma Robin. It's a bit big, but she's still my sweet little Snow Bunny. :)
My babies asleep on the bed (Saturday night when I attempted to write this, but Addie then decided to wake up).
